As we get the new v1.0 release what does this mean for the game and returning players?

As you can see, there is quite a long list of what Endnight has brought with this newest update. An incredible list of improvements have been made and multiple updates have already been made along the way.
As someone who put 70 hours into the game during its earlier stages, reading through this list had me re-install and I am eagerly watching my download while typing up this very article.
The in-depth survival mechanics are incredibly well designed and the base building is some of my favourite out of any game I've played so far.
I'm looking forward to getting back into the game and will report back here my thoughts and feelings on the state of the current game.
