Dirty van, initial level

As a HUGE fan of PowerWashSimulator, hearing the news that it was at long last getting the much-requested VR support was incredible. Working with the VR giants nDreams was also fantastic news to hear. nDreams know their stuff and have worked on some truly amazing titles.

Power Wash Simulator is very well known for its incredibly rewarding and relaxing gameplay loop. Add in the social interactions only possible in VR and this is only going to become a deeper and more enjoyable experience.

The gameplay for my testing was on a pre-release build which nDreams kindly provided a key for. However, for a pre-release, this is one solid-looking game. After spending hours in the original on PC and console this looks just as bright and colourful. You start in a tutorial section on first loading which helps guide you with the basic controls. There are multiple ways in which you can switch between your equipment. There is a toolbelt on your waist, button cycles or a press-and-hold menu where you can make selections. All of this is very intuitive and keeps the focus on the gameplay.

Those familiar with the title already will be very happy and comfortable going in. This is an excellent addition to the experience and it feels exactly as you would hope.

For those less familiar. There are multiple ways to play. Career mode starts from the bottom and increases the size and difficulty of the jobs as well as the payouts as you upgrade your equipment. There are also special jobs including the Mars rover as well as challenges. Inviting a friend to join me in career mode is a usual highlight for my time in the game and I am very much looking forward to checking this out further with friends after the official launch on 02/11/23.

This is a very easy-to-recommend game! This will no doubt become a staple of every quest owner's library.
