WIDMOvr does it again. Time to see the bigger picture.
Having previously worked with WIDMOvr and reviewing their Quest 2 lenses I jumped at the chance to check out their newest offering for the PSVR2. My full review of the Quest 2 lenses can be found HERE.
Build quality is on par with the newly designed Quest 2 lenses which is a very good thing. They feel safe and sturdy for their purpose. They easily clicked into place and felt snug and well-secured. I love how easy and simple they are to get set up. No long, complicated process just clean the lenses and clip in!
So, the big one! My huge concern with using clip-in prescription lenses in the PSVR2. Does the eye tracking still work or does it interfere with it in any way? In short, good to go! I noticed no issues at all when using the eye tracking. It behaved exactly as it would without the lenses in. Playing something like Synapse which utilises eye tracking perfectly was a great test and showed no issues.
Ordering is very easy. Simply fill out the online form with your own personal prescription needs and you're done! I found them very easy to contact through their Twitter page and they were more than happy to answer any queries I had.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with these new lenses. They have allowed me to have a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience when using PSVR2 rather than using the headset while wearing glasses. With great customer service and an overall fast and user-friendly experience, I can very happily recommend WIDMOvr for any lenses you may need.
