Time to see the clearer picture.

Those of us in need of glasses know the daily struggles and concerns of wearing them while using a VR headset. There is a constant concern about the lenses getting scratched. I have also found that even with the spacer installed these can be uncomfortable and the increased space away can affect the field of view.

So then, how can we increase comfort, keep our headset lenses safe from scratches and maintain the factory field of view? With some well-made prescription lens inserts from a fantastic company like WIDMOvr.

WIDMOvr offers specially made Prescription lenses for a wide variety of different headsets. With specially designed and created in-house outer frames these lenses clip straight into the headset. Ordering is super simple, and they are very contactable via their social media accounts (Twitter was my method of contact for enquiries). They have now moved on to a new design for their Quest lenses. I was lucky enough to also test and review the original design which performed exceptionally well but had a weak spot in the outer frame. This new design has now resolved this issue. A more well-built frame with a firmer design.

Ease of use is good, they clip straight in. Clean the lenses of your Quest, push in the lenses over the Quest originals and they will click into place. Job done! Super easy to get on and very sturdy once in. I’ve had no issues using these products and I’ve had no movement of the lenses. I regularly use my Quest for active games and fitness activities, so these lenses have been tested for movement thoroughly. They have remained crystal clear and provided hours of high-clarity gaming. They even include protective covers and a cleaning cloth from the lens provider Rodenstock.

I can highly recommend WIDMOvr for any lenses you may need and I look forward to putting the PSVR2 lenses through their paces next!
